what kind of cakes and desserts do you make?

 

the heart baker provides custom cakes, cakesicles, cake gems and cupcakes for many different occasions. designs are solely out of buttercream and white chocolate decorations. i do NOT offer any fondant designs. i also do not provide sculpted or novelty themed cakes including character cakes and holidays. my designs tend to lean toward modern and classy styles. please see my instagram (or the photo slider on the main page of this website) for examples of my designs.

how do i make an order?

​

fill out an inquiry form to see if your date is available and i will get back to you with more information! a nonrefundable 50% deposit is required to secure your date and purchase. the remaining payment is due 1 week before pick up.

what forms of payment do you accept?

​

cash app, pay pal, apple pay and venmo are the preferred payment options. debit and credit payments can be made through square and will be charged a 3% service fee.

how much time in advance should i place an order?

 

for smaller occasions, i recommend at least two weeks to place your order but definitely reach out asap as i cannot guarantee that your date will be available. weddings and large occasions should give a month+ notice.

what is your cancellation policy?

only 25% of the deposit can be refunded if there is a 14 day notice given. all orders that are cancelled within 14 days will not receive a refund. this is because supplies are purchased in advance and slots fill up quickly. i will try to work with you the best i can but hope you understand this policy!

where is pick up?

​

pick up location will be given once deposit is secured. main pick up location is in edinburg. any meet ups or deliveries outside of pick up radius will be charged a delivery fee. delivery fees start at $20 and will increase depending on location.
